The Hope of Jeremiah

After watching the movie "Jeremiah" last night starring Patrick Dempsey (good movie by the way), it made me want to go search through Jeremiah and see what I had missed in my initial reading of it. It seems the scriptures just make more sense to me since being Torah Observant and I'm able to actually connect the dots instead of just saying to myself, 'huh'?
Going through Jeremiah I read commentary about the 'New Covenant'. Yes, the same 'New Covenant' we have all come to understand with YESHUA's death and resurrection. Right there in Jeremiah 33:31 - 34:
"Behold, the days are coming, says Adonai, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah - not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Adonai: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know Adonai, for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says Adonai. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more".
Jeremiah was preaching of the coming of YESHUA and the renewed covenant with his people. In fact, Peter who is believed to have wrote Hebrews was actually quoting Jeremiah when he said in 8:7 - 12 the exact same thing, 'that the new covenant would be written on our hearts and mind and that we would keep His laws and He would be our Elohim and we His people'.
This is an important point for 2 reasons: First, Jeremiah was prophesying of the coming of YESHUA and that 'His laws' would be written on our hearts and we would keep them out of love for our Father. What were His laws, the Torah!  In Jeremiah's time there were no other heavenly laws except the Torah, the instruction for life, and they were suppose to live it out everyday, and it is those laws, the Torah, that he prophesied would be written on our hearts.  Secondly, now fast forward to Hebrews (Peter) who is quoting Jeremiah.  Peter is saying the exact same thing, that the Torah would be written on our hearts and we would live out this life according to our Father's instructions, not our own.

When two parties make a covenant or in today's terms when two countries make a treaty, when one of the parties doesn't hold up their end of the bargain, the covenant becomes null and void.  To that end Jeremiah was watching first hand the idolatrous ways the house of Judah had become, just the same as the house of Israel, the Northern Tribes, had become and had been expelled from the land.  Jeremiah was watching the same thing happening to Judah.  However, as Jeremiah prophesied, that once broken covenant would be restored with the same terms, only that we do them out of love, and that would allow His people to enter the land again.  Through the death and resurrection of YESHUA we have achieved grace in our Father's eyes, and that last and perfect sacrifice which signifies the beginning of the 'New Covenant' means we are to live out His laws, to keep His feasts, and to remember His ways, each day, not our own.

Keep seeking truth and understanding, may Elohim bless you!!!

Torah Is My Life

My eyes were opened a some years ago and learned that I have inherited lies. I sat around for years learning tradtions of men, things that make the Word of YHWH of no effect. When the scales came off, I realized I had listened to men and women who have no idea of what the Word really is or really says. I inherited things that are vain, I was not taught Torah.
Jer 16:19  O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

After reading this scripture I was wondering, well if I inherited things that were lies, vanity and of no profit then what was good for me, what was not vain and would be life for me?

Deut. 32:46-47 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this Torah. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

When I got over the bitterness of that and started keeping Torah, it was sweet as honey in my mouth.  Rev. 10:9-10.

He Reaches Out

I just got finished reading an article, Joseph and Judah:Two Brothers and the Two Houses of Israel in End-Time Prophecy.   I would like to post just a tidbit from the article that stood out to me.

The Jewish rabbis and sages have long taught that history for the people of Israel is continually repeating itself in cyclical patterns as YHVH accomplishes his purposes among his people over and over again. He is continually endeavoring to reveal his plan of redemption and reconciliation to those who have eyes to see. He is continually reaching out the loving hand of redemption to the next generations of Israelites. This cycle, like a wheel that keeps turning around and around, will turn one more time in the last days in what the Jewish rabbis refer to as the final regathering of the exiles or the final redemption of Israel. This will involve not only the resurrection of the dead, but the reuniting of the divided kingdom of Israel, the regathering of the Israelite scattered exiles back to the land of Israel, and the coming of the Messiah who will set up his reign over this earth called the Messianic Era. This is even better known in Christians circles as the Millennium. The Jewish rabbis and sages have taught this for thousands of years—and still teach it—because they had read and believed what the biblical prophets have written in this regard.

I really enjoyed this article.  If you would like to read it in its entirety www.hoshanarabbah.org/pdfs/joseph_judah.pdf.  A lot you probably already know but still good.

My dad and mom was shown about christmas, halloween, etc. when I was a child.  And though we never fully walked away from all the traditions, our Father was trying to show them His Truth.  If only, but my parents went back to keeping all of christmas and they never really taught us why or why not.  He tried to reach them.  And once again He has reached out and I am holding on because I know it is my Life and I will teach it to my children.

Bells and Pomegranates

I am starting to read on The Tabernacle of Moses.  So much information and not enough time in the day.  While reading I came across the teaching of the blue robe from Ex. 28:31-35 where it talks about the golden bells and pomegranates. And this is what one article had to say about our words and our actions of Torah.  "The pomegranates were made of blue, purple and scarlet wool. The golden bells were audible while the fruit was silent. This speaks to the truth of what we say (our words) and what we do (our actions) should be the same. The former must be pure and heavenly in nature (no evil words, or lashon hora emitting from our mouths) while the later must be righteous in character and spirit."

The Folded Napkin

This story has been dubbed as untrue.  But the truth is He did fold the head cloth (napkin) and the question is . . . Why?  This may not answer it completely or at all but I thought it was definetly something to think about.  His head cloth was not at a dinner table but in a grave.  So please as you read,  this is more for us to take notice that everything in the bible is there for a reason and should make us think and question why did He fold it and set it to the side.

Why did Yeshua fold the napkin? Why did Yeshua fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection? The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Yeshua, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes. The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.
  1. At sunset after Sabbath, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.
  2. She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Yeshua loved. She said, "They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put him!"
  3. Peter and the other disciple ran to the tomb to see.
  4. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first.
  5. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.
  6. Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Yeshua' head was folded up and lying to the side.
Is that important? Yes!
In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about  tradition. The folded napkin had to do with the Master and Servant. When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it. The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished. Now if the master was done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table. The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, "I'm done". But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because....the folded napkin means, "I'm coming back."

This should prompt us to study this important question more closely. As servants at the Master's table, what changes were made that should have been left untouched? The Sabbath, the Feasts, and the Torah?

Good Advice

I recently heard some great advice.  I just wish I had heard it when I first started to realize we are supposed to keep Torah and stay away from the things of this world.  I would like to pass this on in hopes that it will help you out and you don't make the same mistake I did.

"In your first year of studying Torah, Don't tell anyone Anything. You don't know how to explain it properly AND you don't know how to defend what you just discovered."  He went on to say that "One older couple in his Fellowship did share much of what they were discovering and were enthusiastic about, with their oldest son (approx. 32) and his wife. It drove a wedge of a wall between them. That was 2 yrs. ago and the breach is still not repaired, no matter how this older couple has tried. They do understand the wisdom of the statement, Now. . ."

Oh, how I wish I had this nugget.  Oh, how I would do things differently.  It makes me think of the scripture Joshua 1:8 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." It also makes me think of Joseph after he received the dream.  He went out and told his father and siblings and well... they didn't like it very much.  We should live out this life bearing fruit and when others see that fruit and ask, that is when we share.

We must meditate on the Torah and observe to do according to all that is written then we are successful.
It makes me question even writing this blog.  So please fully understand, don't take our word for it.  Be like the Bereans who searched the scriptures every day to see if what was being said lined up with the Word.

Update Revisited!

Well, earlier this year we thougt that we would move this blog and have one web page that included what we are learning, recipes, and then family life.  But we have come to the conclusion that maybe we would kind of keep it separate.  But we would link them through the different blogs.  That way if you are not interested in our family life or recipes well you know the drill.  Besides we really like our blog here.  If it ain't broke don't fix it.

He Was A Carpenter

Wood and trees represent men in the bible(Ps 1:1-3; Jer 5:14). Yeshua, a man who worked in wood (representing humanity) and died on a tree took the fire of judgment upon himself for humanity’s sins.
Yeshua was a carpenter.

The Tabernacle of Moses

Right now I am studying the Tabernacle.  I have come to understand that everything that it is made up of is Yeshua.  Everything you see reveals Him and His salvation.  I came across these two scriptures:

Psalms 77:13 Thy way, O Elohim, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a Elohim as our Elohim?
Psalms 73:17  Until I went into the sanctuary of Elohim; then understood I their end.

In the Hebrew their end

H319
אחרית
'achărı̂yth
akh-ar-eeth'

From
H310; the last or end, hence the future; also posterity: - (last, latter) end (time), hinder (utter) -most, length, posterity, remnant, residue, reward.
David went into the sanctuary and understood by looking around what was going to happen to the remnant in the end times.  Now that tells me that we need to be understanding the Sanctuary/Tabernacle of Moses and how it relates to Yeshua and the plan of Salvation for His people.

Truth is coming out more and more!

All thought this woman at the time of this video still celebrates New Year's Eve. This video is so good to see that the Truth is coming out and on TV! What satan means for evil our Father can use for good.   My prayer is people will study this and not just turn there heads as you see people do in the audience.  This is how we started out.  We knew something was wrong with these holidays and after researching like she did, our Father has revealed over time, more and more Truth.  I hope she will continue to seek Truth.  Dr. Phil being of this world you can see tries to push her to mix worldy ways with His Ways.  May we all seek Him.

Religious Institutions or the Truth

When Yeshua walked the earth, Truth did not come from the Religious Institutions of that day. Truth came from Yeshua and those that followed Him.  Our Father works in cycles.  Hmmmm.

The Marriage of the Lamb

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

When we finally get our act together and all those that come to His proposal (Passover), then accept His proposal (Pentecost) will be at the wedding feast (Feast of Tabernacles).

Teaching Our Children

Abraham commanded his children and his household after the way of Yahweh.  Gen. 18:17,19

And the Yahweh said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;"

"For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Yahweh, to do justice and judgment; that the Yahweh may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him."

Yahweh did not hide the thing which He did because Abraham commanded his children to keep the way.  We are called to teach our children so they can teach their children and so on.  Cyclical.  Just saying.

Ok, that aside.  I sat down with my children at breakfast and decided to add to what we were taught from Torah on Sabbath.  The torah portion was about the covenant that was made with the Israelites. It was made with the Israelites standing in front of Him and future generations.  This covenant was a marriage covenant.  Now as we know the bride went after other lovers and was given a divorce.  The husband died (and resurrected) and now she is free to marry again.  So I am telling my children that at a wedding you have to be at the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. Not an option.  If you want to be in the wedding you have to be there for the rehearsals.  I know I am repeating myself but we need to understand this.  When we Remember and Keep His Sabbaths, Feasts, Commandments etc. we are rehearsing for the wedding and we are marked, to be recognized by our Father that we are His.  That is why in the Brit Hadashah Yahushua says to the person who came to the Feast that was not prepared for the wedding that he had to go.  And Yahushua says to the other five virgins who had no oil(wisdom, Torah) they went off to buy more but it was too late and when they came to the door.  He said I do not know you.  As I study more and more, the pieces of treasure I find are coming together and painting a picture.  It is a beautiful picture.

Paths of Righteousness

I am learning that our Father does not work on a timeline.  He has cycles of righteousness.  In Psalms 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.  The word path in Hebrew is Magal means way, track, rampart (circular). A rampart is a defensive wall.  The root of Magal is Agol which means to revolve, circular, round.  So when we keep His commandments by walking in His ways it is like a defensive wall for us.

A path is narrow place to walk.  But the thing about a path is it is walked on over and over and over again. It is repeated.  When I was little there was cows in our field out back, behind our house.  In the morning they would use the path to go down and then come back up.  We might want to think of a path as a straight line like the picture above, but it is something used over and over again as circular.  You might be thinking "wait a minute what about Psalm 5:8"

Lead me, O Yahweh, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

But the word straight means to make right, to be upright.  Not a straight line.  Ezekiel's wheel.  Wheel within a wheel.  His cycles of righteousness and the cycles of man.  More to come on that later.

Fruit

Fruit. Mathew 7:20 "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Okay. But what is the fruit? What exactly is the fruit?  I have always understood it as someone is blessed and because of the blessing on their life, that person(s) have a good job, nice house, healthy, etc. It couldn't be by how we behave because all Christians do things and say things they shouldn't.  But as usual I have been taught wrong. When I looked this word up in Greek it says a literal fruit. But men don't grow literal apples or oranges so let's take the word fruit back to the Hebrew.
 פְּרִי

pĕriy
fruit (of actions) (fig.)

So here we have that fruit is by our actions.  But I also have to believe that fruit is what we say, our words.  And I say that because what comes out of our mouth comes from the heart, Mathew 15:18.  If Torah is written on our hearts.  The Word seed grows in good ground and grows good fruit then they will also know us by our words and actions because we are saying and doing Torah.  It is like the word remember as in He will remember His covenant or remember the Sabbath day.  In Hebrew it means to mark (so as to be recognized), to make mention.  When we keep His Torah we are marked because we are producing fruit and that is seen by our words and our actions.  I know the scriptures that I am referencing were talking about the false prophets in sheep's clothing but it goes both ways.  If they are known by their actions and words and we can tell they aren't really who they say they are then the same is for us.

No Knowledge of Good and Evil

I like to read the articles on Aish.com, Chabad.org, and Myjewishlearning.com.  The Jewish people have a lot to teach us Gentiles.  I have learned so much from theses websites.  So as usual I was reading an article(http://www.myjewishlearning.com/texts/Bible/Weekly_Torah_Portion/dvarim_summary.shtml) on how Moses was recounting the forty years in the wilderness and encouraging the Israelites in the upcoming conquest in the land of Canaan.  Well, I say I was reading but really just scanning.  Then I got down to the bottom of the page and the author had written some questions for discussion.  And this is what caught my eye.  1) Why would God want children "who have no knowledge of good and evil" to inherit the promised land? Is ignorance better than knowledge? Is knowledge of good and evil necessary to make good choices? Why or why not?

So of course now I go back up to the top of the article and actually read it.  Then half way down this is what it says.
"So God became angry with you and swore that no man among this evil generation would see the good land that God promised to your fathers. Only Caleb, son of Yefunneh and Joshua, son of Nun, shall see it because they have acted faithfully towards God. God said it would be your children, whom have no knowledge of good and evil, who shall inherit this land. But you, you shall wander in the wilderness. Now lately a lot of has crossed my path about the Tree of Life and the The Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.  So I emailed the author Nancy Reuben.  I explained that I understand that the tree of knowledge of good and evil bears no fruit but would like to hear her understanding.  And she emailed me back her perspective:
The knowledge of good and evil is from the tree that bears no fruit.

"Bearing no fruit" meaning -

best to know what is good in God's eyes and practice that only.

When you know good AND EVIL you constantly have to make a choice

so knowing good, doing good and for sure you will get good fruit.

So, what is good in His eyes?  Torah. Eat of the Tree of Life and produce good fruit.

Two Trees in the Garden

There are two trees in the Garden of Eden.  The tree of Life and the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Our Father only planted the Tree of Life.  He said he planted trees that was pleasant to the sight and good for food.  Yahweh told them that they shall not eat of it or you shall surely die.  So we have to understand it was not good for food.  In Genesis we see two trees but in Revelation we see only one.  That is why Yahushua says,

"But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. "

That is why every tare and the tree of knowledge of good and evil will be rooted up.  I looked up the word planted and the meaning is to instill doctrine.  As I have said before His doctrine is Torah.  The doctrine of the tree of knowledge of good and evil is a mixing of good and bad, doing your own thing.   That is why people don't see a problem with christmas, easter, etc.  Such good happens at the same time they say.  But what they don't realize is, it is a mixing.  Our Father hates mixing.  He says do not worhsip me the way pagans worship their gods.  Do not mix what I tell you with the world's way.  If you mix or don't keep Torah, you are eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil which produces bad fruit and you will be considered a tare.
You either eat from one or the other.  The tree of Life is keeping His commandments, His Wisdom given to us.  The tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil is deciding to do what is right in your own eyes.  Proverbs 14:12 says

"There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death."

Way, derek, a course of life or mode of action.

Many people say but what is wrong with dying eggs, handing out candy on halloween or having a christmas tree,  etc.  But you have to look at the root of where all these things started.  The goodwill tree is placed all around the world and by many who aren't even christians.  Shouldn't that sound an alarm.

But, if you remember (zakar: properly to mark, to be recognized) and keep Torah, and let the good seed, the Word, grow on good ground (your heart) by walking in His ways you will live a life that when you speak or do things (your actions) that is your good fruit.  He will recognize you and on that day He will welcome you in to the wedding.

In Revelation after the new heaven and earth you have one tree.  It is the Tree of Life.  Rev. 22:2

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

One Tree!

Scattered Seeds

Sometimes when I hear of the arguments, conflicts and contention betweens us Torah believers I now understand why we were so scattered and why we have had such a hard time finding like believers to fellowship with in our neck of the woods.  Seeds have to be scattered because if you plop all of them down in one place some seeds choke out the other seeds and they can't grow.   So let's all understand that everyone is at a different place and what is important to you may not be as important to the next believer.  Our Father will bring His children into all Truth to those who are seeking Him.  We are all on the same road to Jerusalem but some are just a little further down the road and some have just left Rome.
Let's walk in love with our brethren.

The Wedding Rehearsal

When I was little girl, like all little girls, we dream of the day we will marry.  It was so exciting to go to a wedding and see the bride come down the aisle and meet up with her groom.  It was so beautiful to look around at the bridal party and everyone dressed for the occasion.  The whole picture was breathtaking.
One thing I learned about weddings was if you were going to be in the wedding you had to be at the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  No ifs, ands, or buts.  You had to be there.

What does this have to do with us? Well, Yahushua is coming back for His Bride. But we have to prepare.  We have to be at the rehearsals.  The Fall Feasts are coming upon us.  Feast of Trumpets is the 29th of September.  This is when the shofar is blown and when no man knows the hour or day.  In traditional Hebrew custom, the father tells the son when he can retrieve his bride. The son doesn't just "go" get her, he waits on his father to tell him. That's why it says "only my father in heaven knows." We all wait for the shofar.  It is also when Yahushua will return, like a thief in the night for His bride.  Just like Jacob left with Leah and Rachel and all their belongings.  Laban, the girl's father, didn't know they left. We are to remember and keep His Feasts.  They are rehearsals.  When you look up the word Feasts in Hebrew the word is Moedim.  And when you take that to the root word it says betrothed. Also, the word convocations when taken back to the Hebrew is rehearsal.  His Sabbaths and Feasts are rehearsals.   Remember in the Brit Hadashah (New Testatment) Yahushua tells a parable about a wedding feasts and someone came in not prepared. He was not wearing the proper attire.  He was bound hand and foot and cast into outer darkness.  We have to be prepared.  For this day is coming, and soon.  But we have to be at the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. No ifs, ands or buts.

Restitution and Reconciliation

All my life in church all I heard was forgiveness of sins.  Just confess and go on with your life.  No biggie.  That is all it takes.  Well, that is not what our Father says.  I was listening to the Bible on my ipod while doing the dishes one day.  And as usual something said catches my ear.  I was listening to Numbers 5.  The narrator is reading from vs. 5 and goes on to say.

"Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.
But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest;"

Repentance of sins (teshuva) includes restitution and reconciliation. So if someone has stolen something that person not only confesses but has to give back the principal but has to add to it 1/5 value. I found this explanation from Aish.com. Teshuva is a four part process:   1) We must recognize what we have done wrong and regret it.  2) We must stop doing the transgression and correct whatever damage that we can, including asking forgiveness from those whom we have hurt -- and making restitution, if due.  3) We must accept upon ourselves not to do it again.  4) We must verbally ask the Almighty to forgive us. Wow. Never heard that before.  It just makes me think what else don't we understand.  We have to search the scriptures and remember to understand the New Testament we have to use the dictionary, the Old Testament.

Lashon Ha-Ra The Destroying Tongue

One man spread a rumor about another. He later felt regret, and went to the rabbi to ask how to make amends. "Go to the store and buy a bag of seeds," said the rabbi, "then go to a big open field and scatter the seeds into the wind. Do so and report back to me in a week."
The man did as he was told, and came back the next week to find out what to do next. "Now," said the rabbi, "go back to the field and pick up all the seeds."
"But," protested the man, "those seeds have scattered far and wide! I'll never find them all. Many have even already taken root!"
"Exactly," explained the rabbi. "Now you understand. When we speak badly about another person, the effect is far and wide. And it is damage that can never be fully undone."

The first time I read this I was completely taken back by "pick up all the seeds" and "many have taken root". Wow.  That is how speech works, whether good or bad. It is said that when you speak badly about someone it hurts you, the person you are talking about and the person listening.  I understand how the first two but how does it hurt the person listening.  Because the person listening has the ability to stop the person and/or walk away.  But if the person engages then they have taken part of the destroying.

I found this off of JewsandJoes.com that explains a little more clearer from a Hebrew mentality. Many have likely heard the phrase "Lashon Ha-Ra" in connection with "Gossip", vaguely defined as "Evil tongue" or "Evil speech". Lashon is generally the Hebrew word for "tongue" or "language", while "Ha-Ra" means "the-evil", but with the deeper Hebraic understanding of what "Ra" means, we would more accurately translate "Lashon Ha-Ra" to mean "the-destroying Tongue". So when a person gossips about another person, they are in a very real sense destroying that person or destroying that person's name and/or character. Frequently gossip wrongly destroys a person's character when the said person isn't present and unable to correct or refute the destructive attack on his/her character.

That is why if you can't say something about someone with them right there in the crowd then it shouldn't be said.

Blessings!

To Learn Or Not To Learn

This may be old news to some of you, but for me it is a true revalation. It has occurred to me that when our Father in Heaven gave us his word, he intended us all to discuss it, learn it, and walk in it every day. So while his word is many times referred to as an instruction manual, which it is, it is much more. That's why there are so many stories using visualization and imagery to get His point across, because with imagery there comes dicussion about what is going on and the true meaning of the story. Yes, there are many places where things like the 'do's and don'ts' are listed out, which seem obvious enough, but sometimes even within them you have to read around what was happening in that time, what the culture was like, and what the neighboring nations were and weren't doing.
To go a step further, there is much more than only listening to the word being taught in a one-to-many atmosphere as in typical church settings, rather, it is meant to be discussed, and yes, even argued, among His people. If you can't get passionate about the word, what can you get passionate about! In Biblical times this would have been done with men going into a synagogue to read and interpret scriptures, hopefully with divine intervention. Thanks to our Father's Son, Yahushua, individuals such as myself, can have just as much a relationship with YAHWEH as the hierarchial church system, Jewish or Christian.  This was much of the rub when Yahushua came, it was showcasing the flaws in man made 'systems' instead of doing what Torah instructed.  Instead of listening to it from the pulpit, we all should be researching to see if what is being taught is accurate. That's why the word says in Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpeneth iron, so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend". If there is no interaction between teacher and student, how is the iron to get sharp?
In this, learning and teaching, happens among His people in the same forum. We are all held accountable by the Torah and we are also held accountable to discuss and review with our family, friends, and co-workers. For me, the bigger message in this type of thinking is that our Father wants us to continually be thinking and discussing His word and message, not thinking about ourselves. Be honest, how many of us have had our minds wander astray during a message? I have, and its because we're not engaged, that is unless you're in the front row and spit comes a fly'in your way! By discussing together, and learning to interpret and discern the word, a greater meaning of the message of Yahushua comes forth then simply listening and nodding our heads. We are put to the test to use our cognitive thinking skills and apply what is learned, and yes while its scary, we even have to look at ourselves through our Father's eyes to see what he sees.

Seed Defined by World Book Encyclopedia

The roots, the leaves, the flowers, the fruit, all exist so there can be seed. If the seeds fell straight to the ground beneath the plant that bore them, they would be too crowded to thrive. The seeds must be scattered, or dispersed.….most seeds are scattered by the wind”
The Seed is revealed in the fruit.

Center of The Earth

I recieved an email recently that talks about how Elohim tells Abraham, Jacob and Moses to look North, South, East and West.  Not always in that order, but.
God to Abram:
…raise now your eyes and look out
from where you are North, South, East and West.

(Genesis 13:14)
 God to Jacob:
…and you should spread out
to the West, East, North and South…

(Genesis 28:14)
God to Moses:
…raise your eyes
to the West, North, South, and East…

(Deuteronomy 3:27)

To hear look North, South, East, and West signifies that you are at the center of everything.

Ezekiel 5:5  "Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her."

And now to quote Jerusalem Mayer, Nir Barkat, "The vision I have for the city is return Jerusalem to the role it played two and three thousands years ago as a world center . . ."

Our Father's eyes are on His people and His land.

2 Samuel 7:23-24 And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, Israel, whom Elohim went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
For thou hast confirmed to thyself thy people Israel to be a people unto thee for ever: and thou, Yahweh, art become their Elohim.

No one has replaced His people spiritually or physically.  The church has not replaced Israel.  He knows who His people are and they are the apple of His eye and one day they will be back in the Land and it will be the center of the world again.

Blessings!

Rain Continued

People say that Christ gave different instructions for us.  We no longer keep Torah.  We are no longer under the law.  I have a joke for you.  A mother tells her son "go take out the trash" son says "Hallelujah! I am no longer under the law, I don't have to do that anymore, have the jew next door take it out."  Our Messiah did not give any new Instructions.  He is the living Torah, the Rock, the Branch, Vine, Fruit, Rod and Seed.

Deut. 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a Elohim of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he." 1Cor. 10:1-4 "For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ."

The Rock in Deut. is the same Rock in 1Cor. 10:1-4.  That same rock that Moses struck and was told to speak to.  But he struck again.  He got in trouble for that.  Keep Torah and eat of the Tree of Life or do what is right in your own eyes and eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.  It is your choice.  Choose Life.

Rain

I have heard people call the Torah rain.  But I have never found in the bible where it says that, until today.  As I sit here watching rain come down outside.  We are expecting hurricane Irene later tonight to pass by.  Funny day to come across this scripture.  The Torah is defined as Instruction.  As in His instruction for we are to live.  Just like parents have instructions for their children who live in their house.  If they want to live in the parents house they have to abide by the Father's Instructions. So I came across Deut. 32:2  "My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:"  When you look up the word doctrine:

H3948

לקח
leqach
leh'-kakh
From
H3947; properly something received, that is, (mentally) instruction (whether on the part of the teacher or hearer); also (in an active and sinister sense) inveiglement: - doctrine, learning, fair speech.

His Torah, His instruction is the Rain.

Cycles of YHWH

Our Father does not work on a timeline.  He works in cycles.  As in the wheel within the wheel (Ezekiel 1:16)  The problem with dispensationalism is people tend to think that our Father has changed but He says "He changes not".  Our Father is no different today that when He threw Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden.  You know the saying "history repeats itself" well that comes from Ecc. 1:9 "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." It is true.  He works in cycles.  Dispensationalism is a lie and if you believe that then that opens the door to believe replacement theology.

Bride or Prostitute, Which One Are You?

I recently received an email from a friend in Australia.  It was one of those emails that really make you think.  A man had the privilege of teaching at a school of ministry.  His students were very hungry for the Word.  One day he quoted to them from Rev. Sam Pascoe a short history of the Church:

"Christianity started in Palestine as a fellowship; it moved to Greece and became a philosophy; it moved to Italy and became an institution; it moved to Europe and became a culture; it came to America and became an enterprise.”  Some of the students were only 18 or 19 years old, barely out of diapers, and I wanted them to understand and appreciate the import of the last line, so I clarified it by adding, "An enterprise. That's a business." After a few moments Martha, the youngest student in the class, raised her hand. I could not imagine what her question might be. I thought the little vignette was self-explanatory, and that I had performed it brilliantly. Nevertheless, I acknowledged Martha's raised hand, "Yes, Martha." She asked such a simple question, "A business? But isn't it supposed to be a body?" I could not envision where this line of questioning was going, and the only response I could think of was, "Yes." She continued, "But when a body becomes a business, isn't that a prostitute?"

Wow, what a statement.  We already know from scripture that Elohim says that his people prostituted themselves to other lovers. The Israelites often played the "whore" of the relationship by "prostituting" themselves to other gods.  Judges 8:33  “And it came to pass, as soon as Gideon was dead, that the children of Israel turned again, and went a whoring after Baalim, and made Baalberith their god.”  Baalim was a prophet for hire. He was your guy for the right amount of money.  Need I say more?

My husband and I left the church over a year ago, for many reasons. One of the many was that we knew there were things that were going on in church that was wrong and we decided enough and never went back.   Funny, at the time, not realizing what exactly we were “coming out of” but am thankful we did.  See, I had started going to the financial meetings.  It was very eye opening.  The pastor would stand and speak along with the financial guy.  The economy had started its downfall.  The church laid off people and started this “campaign” for funds.  The pastor had said that many of the “good” tithers had left and that many new people had started coming to church that had the potential of being good tithers.  “It was time to pull out the tithing sermons”, he said.  I was appalled. It was a business meeting.  Some time before that I had tried to be more involved in the church and decided that I would bake for the coffee shop that was off the sanctuary.  I had received an email about what they expected.  One of the details was that the cookies/brownies had to be a certain size and not to get extravagant (I would get reimbursed for what I bought), because we are “trying to make money you know”.  I baked twice and let them know I was no longer available.  I was just taken back by this.  I just kept thinking, am I attending church or shopping at a business?  Now, when I look back I can see the whole picture.  And that is usually how it has been throughout this whole “coming out of”. We took a step of faith and it wasn’t until we walked away from something that we saw how bad it really was, i.e. christmas, halloween, easter, etc.

In the email, the gentleman goes on to say “that he pondered was he really a true lover of Elohim? What would happen if He stopped blessing me? What if He never did another thing for me? Would I still love Him? Please understand, I believe in the promises and blessings of Elohim. The issue here is not whether Elohim blesses His children; the issue is the condition of the heart. Why do I serve Him? Are His blessings in my life the gifts of a loving Father, or are they a wage that I have earned or a bribe/payment to love Him? Do I love Elohim without any conditions?”

He said, “That American Christians do not really love Him and that it originates in how they came to Him.  Most of us came to Him because of what we were told He would do for us. We were promised that He would bless us in life and take us to heaven after death. We married Him for His money, and we don't care if He lives or dies as long as we can get His stuff. We have made the Kingdom of Elohim into a business, merchandising His anointing. This should not be. We are commanded to love Elohim and are called to be the Bride of the Messiah ~ that's pretty intimate stuff. We are supposed to be His lovers. How can we love someone we don't even know? And even if we do know someone, is that a guarantee that we truly love them? Are we His bride or have we prostituted ourselves to others?”

We are told repent and accept Christ and let Him into our lives.  But as I have said before repent means to turn back to Him, to the starting point of Torah.  The Church talks of Grace and yes, He is full of Grace but that Grace is what allows us back in and His Grace was never meant to be greasy.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our Elohim into lasciviousness, and denying the only Adonai Elohim, and our Adoniai Yahushua.

What is lasciviousness? By definition it is wantonness, lack of self control, and reckless freedom.  That does not sound like fruit to me.  We have a choice.  We are given free will and like the Israelites in the wilderness, He gave them the Torah, His Instruction for His people. He tells them, “I put before you blessings or curses.”  One brings life and one brings death.  "Therefore, choose Life."  The Bride chooses Life.  She chooses to prepare herself for her bridegroom.  Which one are you?

False Prophets

How do we know who is a False Prophet?

Deut. 13:1-5
If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Yahweh your Elohim proveth you, to know whether ye love the Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.
Ye shall walk after the Yahweh your Elohim, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the Yahweh your Elohim, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the Yahweh thy Elohim commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

So, if someone comes along who does signs and wonders and tells you to go after other gods and not walk after Yahweh, fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice then he is a false prophet.

2 John 1:9,10 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Yahushua, hath not Elohim. He that abideth in the doctrine of Yahushua, he hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him Elohim speed:

So we see that if someone does not abide in the instruction of Yahushua they have not Yahweh, but he that does abide in the instruction of Yahushua has both the Father and the son. Now what is the instruction of Yahushua?

The word doctrine in Greek means Instruction, just like in Hebrew, the word Law (Torah) means Instruction.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

We know that Yahushua only spoke the Father's words which was the Old Testament. He was the Word made Flesh, the Living Torah, from the beginning (John 1:1).

1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

So if a pastor, preacher or anyone comes along saying they know Him, doing signs and wonders but don't keep the commandments of Yahweh, there is no Truth in them and they are not of Yahweh.

Ephesians 2:1-2 And you [hath he quickened], who were dead in trespasses and sins; wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience:

Sons of disobedience??? To what?

Ephesians 5:6-10 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of Elohim upon the sons of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Yahweh: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Yahweh.

Sons of disobedience do not walk in the commandments therefore there is no light in them. They follow the false prophets. Do no walk as them and become partakers with them. Reminds me of the saying from the movie Forrest Gump "RUN FORREST!!!" We should not walk as them, but run away, run far away.

Return

The word return used in the Old Testament. Our Father uses this word for His people. We are to return to Him. To withdraw from our pagan, worldly ways and go back to the starting point of Torah and Him.

Sabbath

People say because Sabbath was not preached in the New Testament that we don't have to keep it. I have a question. Why would they have to preach something that they were all keeping? Remember the Word that was preached to them was Torah and if someone was not keeping Sabbath they were stoned. Just like Mary would have been stoned for being with child because she had not married Joseph yet. She was thought to have had been with another man. It was a sin. Sin is transgressing the Law. The Law tells us what sin is. It may have not been preached but there are 55 verses in the New Testament mentioning the Sabbath, so there were keeping it.

The beautiful thing about Sabbath and why it is so important is because Sabbath is an outward sign. Yes, it is a sign between you and Him. But it is a physical sign. When I keep the other commandments: not murdering, adultery, stealing, lying, or coveting. They are just things I don't do, I stay away from. But the Sabbath is something that I physically do. I set the seventh day aside to rest, study and spend time with my family. I remember Him and who He is to me and what all He has done. I recognize my Creator, the one who saved me out of the miry clay. I put Him first. It is the one commandment we are told to Remember ,Observe and Keep Holy. In remembering, observing and keeping I am saying I know who I belong to, who redeemed me, who saved me. It is a time set apart. I stop all that I am doing and recognize Him as my Saviour, my all. I remember not to get caught up in this world, you know the sayings "this is life, this is what we do or this is how americans do it". Americans are so busy. They are so exhausted from their comings and goings they don't have time to read and study the bible. Satan has so many caught up in the lie that it is all about being busy with churchianity and different organizations "doing good" but they have no clue of what really is being said in the Bible and how it affects our lives. They keep listening to the false prophets. So many people say that they are "too busy, it's too chaotic, or He knows my heart" Well, Jer. 17:9-10 says, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the Yahweh search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings."

Are you really producing fruit? Do you put Him first? Do you take the time to read and study and teach your children what the Word says? Our Father in heaven knew He could count on Abraham to do what he was supposed to do. "For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Yahweh, to do justice and judgment; that the Yahweh may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him." Genesis 18:19. He even called him friend.

If you are waiting for things to be perfect to start keeping His commandments, it ain't gonna happen. Satan will keep you so busy "doing good" and "living life" that you never get the chance to get understanding. Proverbs 4:1-7 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.
For I give you good instruction, forsake ye not my Torah.
For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.
He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

The Bible doesn't say the Israelites waited for things to be perfect and then they Did and Obeyed. No, they just started obeying. We have to trust Him and know that everything will fall into place. Sabbath is a true, in motion, outward sign between you and Him.

Blessings!

Jews and Judeo-Christians

My husband and I enjoy watching the Naked Archaeologist on the History Channel. Don't worry he isn't really naked.   He recently said something that I know to be true but it is exciting to hear other people say.  He said, "the only difference between Jews and Judeo-Christians was that the Jews were still looking for their Messiah and Judeo-Christians were looking for the Messiah's second coming."  In other words, Jews and Judeo-Christians all kept Torah.  And that is exactly what he went on to discuss.  Well, not but a few weeks later I am having a reunion of friends from high school and one of my friends has married a man from Morocco. A really nice, intelligent man.  He is Muslim.  He notices on my wall in my kitchen, a calendar. We have a huge chalkboard that my husband painted for us.  On this chalkboard is our calendar.  I don't label the month or the days but I have 5 rows of 6 days then the seventh day, the Sabbath.  When he saw this he became really excited and we struck up a conversation and he began to tell me the same thing.  That the first Christians (Judeo-Christians he called them) believed the same as Jews.  They kept Sabbath, Kosher, the Commandments,  etc.  They kept Torah.  I was so excited to hear this.  I already know this to be true but to hear it come out of someone else's mouth and someone from another religion.  I don't know.  It is exciting!

Blessings!

The *Word* By Which The Gospel Was Preached (Revised)

I originally posted this back in March.  But have since come across another scripture to confirm this truth.

March Post:

Again, I am on my treadmill. I am listening to the audio bible on my IPod. 1 Peter, chaper 1 and on verse 24 through verse 25 the voice says, "For all flesh is as grass, and all glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Elohim endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." Now, this is my "aha" moment. Christians say they are New Testament Christians and that the gospel is not the same as the Old Testament, that Yeshau taught something new. I know differently, but having the scripture that ties the two together when I am talking to someone helps. Verse 24,25 is quoted from Isaiah 40:6-8 "The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Yahweh bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our Elohim shall stand for ever." The Word in the Old Testament is the Torah, His will and it stands for ever and this scripture is being quoted in the New that endures for ever and is the word which by the gospel is preached unto us, and the other scripture that is referenced Luke 16:17 "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail." This is no crossing the t or dotting the i. This is hebrew writing. And Mathew 5:18 "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Heaven and earth are still here and He hasn't returned yet. Wow, thank you Father in Heaven. This is an answer to prayer. It is something I have known but when you find the Word that interprets the Word. I can almost hear Angels sing. Okay, just kidding. Psalms 119:89 "For ever, O Yahweh, thy word is settled in heaven."

Addtional scripture:

My brother came across this scripture which references 1 Peter 1:24,25. In Hebrews 4:2,3 it says, "For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world."

Did you see that? Of course you did, I put it in bold for you. In Hebrews it is talking about the Israelites not entering in the Promised Land because of lack of faith. The Gospel that was preached that all churchianity teaches and says it is a new thing that Yeshua taught and that the Old Testament is well, you know, "Torah is to the Jews only". The scripture doesn't say Jew one doctrine and Gentiles another. No, it says Jew first, then Gentile. The Israelites had Torah but couldn't enter in because of unbelief. In other words, no faith. Churchianity has faith but doesn't understand the Gospel is the Torah. They won't enter in because He will say "I never knew you". And we all know how He knows us because we are sealed because we keep His commandments. The Gospel that was preached unto us is the same that was preached unto them, the Torah!!!

Blessings!

Psalms 104

Psalms 104

1Bless the Yahweh, O my soul. O Yahweh my Elohim, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
2Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
3Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:
4Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
5Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
6Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
7At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
8They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
9Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
11They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.
12By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
13He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
14He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
15And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
16The trees of the Yahweh are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;
17Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
18The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
19He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
20Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
21The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from Elohim.
22The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
23Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
24O Yahweh, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
25So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
26There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
27These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
28That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
29Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.
30Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
31The glory of the Yahweh shall endure for ever: the Yahweh shall rejoice in his works.
32He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
33I will sing unto the Yahweh as long as I live: I will sing praise to my Elohim while I have my being.
34My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Yahweh.
35Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the Yahweh, O my soul. Praise ye the Yahweh.

Why the Picture Change?

Why did I change the picture?  The Bible says we are grafted in and I understand that. I have repented of my sins and have returned (hebrew- shub: to turn back) to Him. I am studying the Word to get understanding and be obedient to His Word.  Ezekiel says that we (Joes) and the Jews are to become one again.  The whole house united again. The building again of the Tabernacle of David.  But we aren't there yet. There is still this division, each house is still against the other.  This new picture saddens me. This picture of two trees next to each other, very close but still not one is the best way to describe the two houses. But at the same time this picture gives me hope because even though we are not one we are closer than we have ever been before.

Blessings Everyone!

Food for Thought

“Nevertheless, the people still sacrificed on the high places, but only to the Yahweh their Elohim” (2 Chr 33:17). The only true place of worship was the Temple in Jerusalem, not the high places. Jerusalem was where he put His name.  Yet, we still keep doing our on thing.
