If A Preacher Asks You To Tithe

 

The Biblical "Tithe" has always been food (produce or cattle) never money. Even the Pharisees grew gardens so that they could tithe produce. (Luke 11:42)
Also, ...tithe is only to be given to the Levites and the poor, widow, and orphan.

But, if your preacher insists that you pay "tithe" to him, give him a salad from your garden.

"Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Messiah we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God." (2 Corinthians 2:17)

His Spotless Bride

We are to be a spotless bride.  In Ephesians 5:27 "That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."  What does without blemish mean? It means to be perfect but not like we think perfect.  It comes from the Hebrew word Tamiym. But mature as in wise.   So, if we are to be tamiym let's look into His Word and see what would make us mature. 

Psa 19:7 The Torah of the YHWH is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the YHWH is sure, making wise the simple.

The Torah is perfect.  It makes wise the simple.  Makes wise the simple.  Simple in hebrew means foolish.  Who was foolish?  The Five virgins who had no oil.  So, to be wise would means to have wisdom and what is our wisdom? Well, YHWH gives the Israelites the Torah and then tells them in Deut. 4:6 "Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, which shall hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people."
Deut. 18:13  "Thou shalt be perfect with the YHWH thy Elohim."

Torah is what makes us a wise, mature bride.  Remember in Song of Solomon how it talks about the little sister who has no breasts?

Song of Sol. 8:8 "We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?"

Just like the foolish virgins who are spoken for, they are not wise but simple, no breasts.  They will not be a part of the Bride.   

1 Kings 8:61 "Let your heart therefore be perfect with the YHWH our Elohim, to walk in His statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day."

1 Kings 11:4 "For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the YHWH his Elohim, as was the heart of David his father."

Solomon turned away from Torah.  He had too many wives and he built high places to other gods and burned incense to them.  A big no no in YHWH's book.  Yeshua came to redeem His Bride for a price but never to do away with Torah. He said that himself.  He was the Living Torah.  Sin is the transgression of the Law which is Torah. 1 John 3:4. Do away with Torah, the law and you do away with sin.  No sin, no need for someone to save you. So no need for a Saviour, no need for Yeshua.  Torah is not done away with.  It is what makes us wise.  It is how we overcome the world.  It makes us a peculiar people, a treasure unto Him.  We are to overcome by the blood and the Word of our testimony, Rev. 12:11.  What is the word of the testimony? The Torah!

Lord of the Flies

As we know there is no such thing as coincidences in Hebrew.  Everything happens for a reason. A couple of weeks ago I happen to come upon the word Beelzebub and look up what it's definition according to Hebrew. He was a dung god.  In other words 'lord of the flies'.  So I find this article the other day about how the president of the United States seems to have problems with flies attracted to him.  Just three days into his second term he has another run in with a fly.  You can read the article here. The article goes on to say that it just didn't happen once but in 2010, 2009 and 2008.  I bring this up because we need to be paying attention to what all is going on in the world.  The president does not like America.  I think he down right hates America.  If you don't believe me watch Obama's 2012 movie.  I think YHWH will harden Obama's heart even more towards America just like Pharaoh.  Pharaoh already did not like the Hebrews and YHWH used that as judgement against them.  And just like before YHWH will harden Obama's heart to judge His people before He brings them out a second time in an even bigger Exodus.

Elijah Has Come!

Elijah's message is the same today as it was when he first walked the earth.  Repent and turn back to Torah.  In Malachi 4:4-6 "Remember ye the law(torah) of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the YHWH: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. "  The great and dreadful day of YHWH is almost upon us.  It is tribulation and it is almost here.  Just like when Yeshua came the first time John the Immerser came in the spirit of Elijah saying "Repent".  Repent means teshuva.  It means to turn back to something that was walked away from.  What was turned away from?  His commandments, His Torah, His Covenant.  I know people who walked away from Christianity and have been keeping Torah for 20 plus years now.  My parents when I was probably 12 or so started seeing that Christmas, Easter, Halloween was wrong.  That has been 20 plus years now.  But unfortunately, they never fully walked away and searched/studied the scripture for His Truth.  But my husband and I were shown His Truth and have walked away from it all and repented.  We keep His Feasts, His Sabbath, eat clean foods only just like Yeshua did.  We want to walk as He did.  Elijah has come and is turning the Hearts of the Fathers (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) to the children and our hearts to the Fathers.  Abraham, Isaac and Jacob all kept Torah.  Repent for the Kingdom is truly at hand.

Rejecting The Five Virgins

Yeshua is coming for His Bride. We are to be a holy priesthood. A priest before Him. But of the parable of the ten virgins, five were rejected. They had no oil for their lamps. Why? Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also REJECT thee, that thou shalt be NO PRIEST to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the Torah of thy Elohim, I will also forget thy children." Yeshua told the five virgins He knew them not. 
Mat 7:21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work Torahlessness(iniquity)."
