Do We Inherit Heaven or Earth?

"The concept of going to heaven as if it were our reward is clearly Greek/Roman/Western in origin and totally foreign to Hebraic thought and the Bible. The righteous will inherit the earth, albeit a new heaven and a new earth, nevertheless, the earth, not heaven."

When we, as Westerner’s, speak of salvation, we generally think of John 3:16. Furthermore, to the Western mind, salvation has the connotation of being saved from our sins so that we can go to heaven one day.
Our concept of salvation is more intangible, ethereal and other worldly. The Hebraic view (and the scriptural view) of salvation is totally at odds with our current Western mindset. I will quote to you from Marvin Wilson's book, Our Father Abraham:
The Hebrew verb
yasha means "to save" or "to deliver," and the noun yeshua‘ah, "salvation," derives from it. In the Hebrew Bible, this verb is not used in the sense of "escape to heaven." Rather, a careful study of its many occurrences reveals that the main idea is "to liberate," "to deliver from evil," or "to free from oppression."

In most instances, salvation was wrought when Father YHVH defeated Israel's enemies, either directly or through human agents.

Psalms 37:29 says "the righteous shall inherit the earth". Yeshua even said in Matthew 5:5 "the meek inherit the earth". No where in the scriptures does it ever say that we go to heaven.  In Revelation the word says a new Jerusalem comes down.  We receive a new heaven and earth,  but we live on earth.  Just like the Garden of Eden.  Elohim came to the Garden.

To Walk As Yeshua Did Is To Keep Torah

keep this always in your mind

Yeshua was the Living Torah (John 1:14 the Word became flesh)  The Torah is YHWH's Instructions for Living.  Sin is the transgression of the Torah (law) 1 John 3:4.  What law?  The New Testament was not written down as it was happening.  It was written many many years later so the only Law that they could have been talking about was Torah.

Shalom!!!

We are either a servant of YHWH or of sin (John 8:34; Luke 16:13). One is an easy Master who gives true freedom (James 2:12; Matthew 11:30), the other is a hard master that restricts freedom. Because of what the Messiah did, we can make our choice between the two!

We become free from bondage by becoming a bondservant to YHWH! I guess that would make the opposite true as well... turning against YHWH and being free from Him results in you being in bondage~ Ken Rank.

Sheep or A Goat?

Like and Share. Let's be praying for our preachers and pastors.

SHEEP learn and OBEY the COMMANDMENTS of our Creator ELohim.
GOATS do what THEY want, making excuses for their SIN, DISOBEDIENCE and REBELLION, falsely teaching, believing and claiming that the commandments were allegedly "done away with".

WHAT then did Messiah teach for 3-1/2 years?
Was it to OBEY the commandments because of our LOVE for Him
...
or allegedly HOW people could live WITHOUT the commandments and still be righteous?

Are you really a GOAT
( one who walks in your OWN ways )
yet still thinking that you are a SHEEP
( one who WALKS in the WAYS of YHWH ELohim )??

Your ETERNAL DESTINY is dependent on the right answer of HOW you live.

Judaism Is In the Bible

It is not what you think though.  I keep hearing people say that Judaism is never mentioned in the Bible.  But that is incorrect.

"For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion (G2454), how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:  And profited in the Jews' religion (G2454) above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers." (Gal 1:13-14)  Emphasis mine.

Jews Religion G2454

Ἰουδαΐσμός
Ioudaismos

ee-oo-dah-is-mos'

From

G2450; "judaism", that is, the Jewish faith and usages: - Jews’ religion.

The verse goes on to explain that he was exceedingly zealous of the tradtions of the fathers, Jews religion, Judaism.

The Last 2,000 Years

I had always wondered where in the bible was it prophesied about the last 2,000 yrs.  But He reveals the end out of the beginning.  In this last torah portion we had, I learned that it is in the story of Joseph when he descends into Egypt in Genesis 39-41.  Joseph was rejected by his brothers and handed over to the Gentiles, so likewise, Yeshua was rejected by His brothers and handed over to the Romans. And why does Genesis 39-41 account for twenty years of Joseph’s life? Because YHWH  intended for us to understand its Messianic significance. Through this He teaches us that the Gentiles would know the Messiah as a Savior for 2000 years. During Joseph’s twenty-year exile from his family, all of his characteristics seemed to be Gentile—he spoke the Egyptian language, had an Egyptian name, dressed like an Egyptian and looked like an Egyptian. His brothers didn’t even recognize him when they were brought before him after twenty years of separation. So likewise, Yeshua is known throughout the Gentile world as Jesus. His transformation into a Gentile has been so complete that most non-Jewish believers do not even see Him as a Torah-observant Rabbi any more. Furthermore, His Jewish brothers even see Him as a Gentile false God. Yeshua's words seem truer more ever day that I study the Torah.

"For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me" (John 5:46)
