Not My People?

On the Torah portion, Ki Tissa, I came across where YHWH tells Moses go down to the people you brought out of Egypt.  The Israelites had agreed to His Covenant and Moses went up to get the tablets and while Moses was up on the Mountain, they make a golden calf and worshipped another god.  He had told them if you keep my Covenant you will be a Kingdom of Priests, a peculiar treasure to ME.  But now that they broke the Covenant they were the people Moses brought out, not His people.  YHWH redeemed them out of Egypt, so they were saved by Grace.  It was not until that they agreed to His Covenant that they would be His people.  That is why is Hosea 1:1-9 (Prophet to the apostate Ten Tribes) YHWH tells him to go and marry a woman a wife of adultery.  She bares three children Jezreel for He will avenge the blood of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu and cause the kingdom of the house of Israel to cease, then she has Loruhamah for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away, then she has Loammi for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.  But now He is calling His people back to Him (Deut. 30:1-4). We are repenting and turning back to Him and His Covenant. Now He will call us His people. Hos. 1:10,11 "Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God. Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel."  These are exciting times.

Blessings!!!
