First Seven Words of Genesis 1:1

From Unlearn on Facebook by Lex Meyer:

In Hebrew there are 7 words in Genesis 1:1, but two words are not translated into English.

"Bereshit bara' Elohim ET ha-shamayim v'ET ha-erets" (Genesis 1:1)

1. bereshit = beginning
...
2. bara' = create

3. elohim = God

4. et = Aleph-Tav - (Messiah said He is the "Alpha and Omega", but in Hebrew, He would have said, the "Alef and Tav")

5. ha-shamayim - the heavens

6. v'ET = Vav-Aleph-Tav -(Vav is the 6th letter of the Hebrew alphabet and therefore represents a man) Vav is used here as a conjunction meaning "and"

7. ha-erets = the earth

These 7 words are connected to the 7 days of the week, and the phrase "a day is as 1,000 years" has great significance here because we see that on the 4th day, Messiah appeared, and he will appear again at the end of 6th day, to reign for 1,000 years. Therefore we see that the Sabbath is a foreshadow of the Messiah's reign.
