Why did Yeshua heal so many on the Sabbath? Because He wanted to show that Sabbath is connected to wholeness, to life, abundant life. Sabbath is such a joy to this family. We have been given a day like no other day. A day that has been set aside for us to acknowledge who our Creator is and His authority. A day that we meet with Him, to rest, study Torah, and spend time with our kids. A day that we get to rest from all our works. Both physically and spiritually. We rest in Him. He provides, we gather up two days worth of manna(food), prepare it all on preparation day and on Sabbath we rest. Rest in the fact that all will be taken care of by Him. We don't have to worry "oh, this isn't getting done". Nothing calls on us to "do this". We know that we can rest and we pick up whatever has to be done the next day. No worries! He takes care of everything. And we get to do this every seven days. Now, that is abundant life.
