What Was Nailed To The Cross?

The Torah or our sin of Adultery?

 

Just a couple months ago my prayer was what was really nailed to the cross?  I wanted a good understanding of what Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" What did it really
mean?  I got that answer this passed Sabbath.  119 Ministries put out a great video and you can find it here.  Also, Hoshana Rabbah has a great torah portion teaching on this and you can find it here!

Connection

Bad is not what happens to us but what comes out of us. We have no control, zip, 0% over the things that come at us. But we do have 100% control over what comes out of us. I believe Yeshua/Jesus once said something along these lines.

Matthew 15:18-19 "But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts..., murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man:"

We have a choice. We can be a person of connection: of love, humility and meekness and walk as he walked. Matthew 11:29b "for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Mat 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see Elohim/God."

Or we can choose to walk in the world of estrangement: to criticize, be angry, speaking lashon hara or judge negatively. Mat 12:35 "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things."

I choose connection! To walk as He walked and forgive, let it go and move on and take the higher road of Love. Being a Light. Because light dispels darkness. I choose to do what I can do to make it better. To be a giver and a forgiver. Everything comes from God! There is none Higher! He allowed it and will I worship Him and walk in Love or worship another and walk in darkness? Who's child will I be? I want to be His child.

Mosheh WASHED the ENTIRE BODIES of Aaron and his sons.
This is a portrait of REDEMPTION, whereby Messiah WASHES us COMPLETELY
CLEAN through AUTHENTIC FAITH / BELIEF in His finished work on the Tree for us.
This is represented by the BRONZE ALTAR for SIN ( REDEMPTION ), a portrait of the TREE of Messiah.

BUT ... then, Aaron and his sons got their HANDS and FEET dirty
... DAILY ... from working and... walking in the Tabernacle. So they needed
a DAILY WASHING ... BEFORE they could go into
the Presence of ELohim in the Tabernacle ... lest they died!!
This is a portrait of SANCTIFICATION, whereby WE must WASH our OWN
HANDS and FEET ... daily.
This is represented by the LAVER for WASHING ( SANCTIFICATION ),
a portrait of the WASHING by the WATER of the WORD ( TORAH ).

NOT a license or permission to keep SINNING.

GRACE is ...
the WASHING of our own HANDS and FEET --- DAILY ( like Aaron and his sons did for themselves before entering into the Tabernacle into the Presence of YHWH ELohim )
for the daily sins of walking in this world and doing things against the commandments, knowingly or unknowingly.

It is spoken of in the Renewed Covenant as:
the WASHING by the WATER of the WORD ( of the COMMANDMENTS of TORAH )

If we are NOT WASHING our HANDS and FEET by the LEARNING and OBEYING of the COMMANDMENTS, then we are *** NOT *** "under grace", but still in SIN, DISOBEDIENCE and REBELLION, OUT of COVENANT.

 

 

BELIEF in Messiah ( for REDEMPTION )
withOUT LEARNING and OBEYING TORAH ( for SANCTIFICATION )
is not enough. It will NOT save one's soul.

We need BOTH: REDEMPTION and SANCTIFICATION
These are TWO WITNESSES, according to the COMMANDMENTS o...f TORAH
necessary for SALVATION.
One Witness ( "BELEIF" ) will NOT save your soul.
FAITH ( BELIEF - for REDEMPTION )
WITHOUT
WORKS ( LEARNING and OBEYING the COMMANDMENTS - SANCTIFICATION )
is DEAD FAITH!!
